SOC 410 - Family and Society Credits: 3 Focuses on the family as a social institution, a social process, and as an interacting system. Includes emphasis on historical development and interrelationship between the family and society. Major theoretical perspectives are applied to the study of the family. Cross cultural and utopian (U.S.) family movements included.
Prerequisite(s): (SOC 101 or HON 161 or SOC 257 ) Graduate Credit: This course is available for graduate credit.
