ART 306 - Computer Design II Credits: 3 Second-level course taught on the Macintosh computer. Will learn the art of computer illustration, drawing and rendering techniques, including all aspects of a postscript language illustration program. Also taught in-depth will be type manipulation and how to incorporate an illustration. Use of a color scanning device and a color printer will be covered along with information about the illustration and design industry, the future of the computer, and advanced use of the Macintosh operating system. Emphasis creating visually strong illustrations and designs. (Offered in spring only.)
