CSC 180 - Microcomputer Basic Credits: 3 Studies BASIC programming including microcomputers. Topics include structured algorithm design, looping, functions and subroutines, graphics, and files. Will learn which elements of BASIC are standard and which vary from machine to machine. A survey of applications software which is available and a description of the hardware components will round out the students’ knowledge of microcomputers. Course is not available to those who have already taken MIS 142 or CSC 110 . Also, course is not available to computer science (B.S.) for major credit.
