HIS 342 - U.S. Immigration and Ethnicity Credits: 3 Examines the history of immigration and ethnicity in the United States between 1820 and 1980. Traces processes, politics, and cultures of new Americans with special emphasis on legal barriers to full citizenship. Focus on gender relations and the experiences of recent ethnics included.
Prerequisite(s): HIS 105 or HON 122 and sophomore standing, or permission of instructor.
