MIS 242 - Design and Development of User Information Systems Credits: 3 Emphasizes the theory and concepts of end-user computing. Topics include study of formal and informal information systems; evolution of end-user computer systems; role and impact of end-user computing on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software. Concepts and techniques of modeling and decision support systems will be incorporated in development and implementation of end-user applications using Internet development tools.
Prerequisite(s): MIS 142 or permission of department chair.
