CIVE 451 - Water and Wastewater Conveyance Systems Design Credits: 3 This course is divided into two intimately related topics that are most relevant to civil and Environmental engineering areas; namely, Water Supply/Distribution Systems and Waste and Storm Water Collection Systems. Students will learn identification and evaluation of design solutions for providing a community with adequate water supply, storage tanks, pumping stations, water resources, water demand forecasting, collecting and disposing of stormwater and sewage, and managing excess stormwater flow.
Prerequisite(s): CIVE 331 and CIVE 436 with C or better. Graduate Credit: This course is not available for graduate credit.
