MGT 346 - Employment Law Credits: 3 Investigates in-depth federal and state legislative, judicial, and administrative regulation of the employer/employee relationship in the private sector. Presents overview of labor law. Topical coverage may include equal employment opportunity, affirmative action, wage-hour law, employee pension and benefits, workers’ compensation, unemployment compensation, privacy, occupational health and safety, and legal basis for collective bargaining.
Prerequisite(s): BSL 261 or permission of department.
