SPN 361 - Masterpieces of Spanish-American Literature Credits: 3 Designed to read and study in depth selective works of Spanish-American literature in all genres from the pre-colonial period to the present day framing the works in their social and historical context. The purpose is to do close readings of both the selected texts and the socio-political and other cultural trends that were dominant at the time they were written and published.
