EEC 561 - Instruction for Students with Low Incidence Disabilities Credits: 3 EEC 561 is an advanced study of educational strategies and materials used with people who have low incidence disabilities. This course explores instructional strategies and programming for individuals who have significant impairment in intellectual functioning and adaptive behaviors. Adapting instructional strategies and materials to meet the unique needs of people with low incidence disabilities is also stressed. Education for independent functioning in self-care, social, and daily living skills is emphasized.
Prerequisite(s): EEC 273 or permission of the instructor.
