BIOL 145 - Environmental Biology Credits: 3


Examines human impacts on the environment.  Students will explore issues resulting from the expanding human population and our increasing consumption of resources, and will consider sustainable alternatives.  Topics include: basic ecology, human population growth, biodiversity and conservation, climate change, resource use, and pollution.  Three hours lecture/week. Credit earned in this course is not applicable to the credits required of the biology major.
