PHYS 471 - Computational Physics Credits: 4 Introduces the use of sophisticated numerical techniques to solve physical problems. Topics include: approximation methods; numerical integration; ordinary and partial differential equations; random processes; spectral analysis; and Monte Carlo methods.
Prerequisite(s): PHYS 301 and CMSC 110 and MATH 322 Graduate Credit: This course is not available for graduate credit.
