EXER 495 - Internship in Fitness & Performance Setting Credits: 3-12


Students will complete a practical, observational, and/or research-based learning experience in a fitness, performance, or sport setting of the student’s choice. This will allow students to apply the knowledge and skills they have gained from their coursework to a real-world experience in a professional setting that supports their career goals. Internship placements must be approved by the student’s academic advisor. The Exercise Science Department will schedule students into their internship only when all required paperwork is completed. At least 3 credits are required for the major; additional credits may count towards major elective or free elective credits.

 

Prerequisite(s): 2.0 or greater QPA & completion of all Exercise Science Core & Human Performance and Fitness Courses with a C or better; Exercise Science elective or free elective courses maybe taken concurrently with the internship.
Graduate Credit: This course is not available for graduate credits.
