SOWK 375 - Social Work Skills for Working with Groups Credits: 3


Expands the assessment and intervention skills learned in SOWK 270  to working with groups. Students learn how group theories should inform their development of group leadership skills. Emphasizes the planning, facilitating, and evaluating of groups often used in social work practice. Observation of groups outside of class time is required.

Prerequisite(s): SOWK 270  with minimum grade of C
