ESSC 421 - Structural Geology Credits: 3 Recognition, interpretation and illustration of geological structures; kinematic and dynamic analysis of rock deformation; stress, strain and deformation mechanisms. 2 hrs. lecture, 3 hours lab., Field trips required
Prerequisite(s): ESSC 110 or HONR 244 and ESSC 212 with C or higher.
Students must provide their own transportation for the course as noted/required by the instructor. Graduate Credit: This course is available for graduate credits.
