ART 430 - Computer Design V Credits: 3 Fifth-level course taught on the Macintosh computer. Learning the art of animation and multimedia production including sound and video editing and compositing for web design. Using page composition and illustration/painting/digital photography techniques learned in Computer Design I, II and III, students will learn how to compile text, paintings, and photographs into a composite web program. Using transparency and vector embedding techniques, information will be enhanced with added sound and video. Elements and principles of design, working between software programs, the use of a color scanning device, video and still camera capturing devices, and CD authoring will be covered. Content includes techniques directed at creating visually sound and effective web design.
