CNS 705 - CES Theories, Models and Practice of Clinical Supervision Credits: 3 Clinical supervision is an essential component for creating ethical and competent counselors. This course is designed to provide doctoral students with the theoretical and fundamental knowledge and skills of clinical supervision. This includes the exploration of theories, models, supervisory roles, evaluation methods, research, legal and ethical issues, and socio-cultural issues in supervision. An experiential component of providing individual supervision to Master?s students will provide an opportunity for the supervised practice of clinical supervision in counseling.
