Political Science, B.A. or Public Service, B.S. with accelerated 4+1 M.P.A. in Public Administration

The Department of Political Science offers a 4+1 Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree for current Shippensburg University undergraduate students.  The 4+1 MPA degree allows students to accelerate their graduate studies by earning graduate credits during their senior year as an undergraduate.  Eligible students may take up to 12 graduate MPA credits that count for both their undergraduate and MPA degrees.  Students can earn their undergraduate and master’s degrees in as little as 5 years with the 4+1 MPA program. Upon successful completion of all the MPA program requirements, students will earn a Master of Public Administration degree.

The 4+1 MPA program is well-suited for students majoring in Public Service or Political Science but is open to ALL majors.
