Professional Studies, Integrative Studies Concentration, B.S.

The B.S. in Professional Studies with a concentration in Integrative Studies offers students the opportunity to work with a faculty advisor to devise an interdisciplinary program tailored to their academic interests and career goals. 

Credit Requirements*


  • General Education: 45 credits
  • Major Requirements: 42 credits 
  • Free Electives: 30 credits
  • Total Credits to Graduate: 120 credits

* All undergraduate degree programs require a minimum of 120 credits.  Some courses meet multiple requirements, but are only counted once toward the 120 credit total required to graduate.

Core Requirements


  • Students are required to combine either two Minor programs from two different departments or one Minor program and two Certificates from 3 different departments into one unified Concentration within the Professional Studies major.
  • Student must successfully complete their declared minors/certificates to graduate from the major.
  • Maximum of 12 credits can be double-counted between the programs that comprise the major (no triple-counting)
  • No fewer than 75% of courses (32 of 42 credits) that count towards the major must be “advanced coursework” at the 200-level and above. No fewer than 33% (14 of 42 credits) must be at 300-400 level.
