Public Health Minor

The minor in Public Health at Shippensburg University prepares undergraduate students for a wide range of career opportunities in the field of public health and beyond. Public Health is the science of promoting health through evidence-based social policy, community organization and support, and informed individual choices. This program emphasizes knowledge and skills related to the social organization of health, drawing upon the social sciences and complimenting this approach by building health expertise across fields.  This program allows students to develop skills that can be used in the ever-expanding public health field.
