Exercise Science Minor

The Exercise Science minor is designed to provide students with the option to tailor the curriculum to your desired career plans and areas of interest. The minor is ideal for students who are interested in broadening their experience and knowledge base in the study and analysis of principles related to exercise physiology, psychological approach to physical activity, acquisition of motor skills, nutritional principles, exercise programming, and injury prevention and treatment strategies. Finally, the minor courses incorporate applied learning experiences to allow opportunities for students to apply course principles and to develop new skills.
Admission Requirements
The Exercise Science Minor is open to undergraduate, graduate, and non-matriculating students. Interested students must meet the following criteria to be admitted into the program:
- GPA of 2.00 or above
- Completion of BIO 150, BIO 238, or BIO 350 with a grade of C or higher
- Completion of PSY 101 with a grade of C or higher
