SOWK 462 - Seminar in Social Work Methods Credits: 3 Builds on the field work experience and must be taken concurrently with Field I-II to integrate the concepts and skills of the program for entry-level social work practice. Emphasis on the generalist approach covering the basic elements of assessment and intervention as applied to field learning. In conjunction with the field experience, integrates theory with practice across systems (i.e., individual, family, group organizations and community processes). Major research project required.
Prerequisite(s): Restricted to Social Work majors.
