HIS 386 - History Research Seminar Credits: 3 Focuses on the critical analysis of primary and secondary sources centered on the production of a research project of significant scholarly value. Students will choose a topic, analyze the relevant secondary source literature and conduct original scholarly research using archival, oral, manuscript and/or other primary sources. Assigned readings will provide practical advice on the art of historical research and writing. Students will also be encouraged to submit their research for presentation at a professional conference or publication in a scholarly journal. P
Prerequisite(s): (HIS 105 or HON 122 ) and (HIS 106 or HON 123 ) and junior standing or permission of instructor.
